Q: Where is Symposium being held?A: On Friday 3/15 and Saturday 3/16, Symposium will be held at the Knoxville Convention Center with wet labs being held at Lincoln Memorial College of Veterinary Medicine and University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine. On Sunday 3/17, Symposium will be held at the Knoxville Convention Center.
Q: When is the Bovine Palpation Competition?
A: The bovine palpation competition will be Saturday, March 18 from 8am-Noon at the Little River Dairy which is apart of the University of Tennessee's agricultural campus.
Q: What attire should I wear?
A: Business casual attire is recommended aside from wet labs and day trips. Wet labs with specific attire will have it listed in the description. Since spring weather is often unpredictable in the Midwest, we recommend dressing in warm layers and wearing close-toe shoes for comfort. Be sure to bring cocktail/formal attire for our opening gala, though! Closing ceremony is all about representing your school, so casual school spirit wear is suggested.
Q: Will meals be provided?
A: Lunch will be provided on Saturday to students participating in wet labs at Lincoln Memorial College of Veterinary Medicine.
A: There will be multiple sponsored breakfast and lunch events for participants to attend. Additionally, there are concession stands in the convention center that attendees will be available to purchase meals from.
Q: Will I have to plan for travel at symposium?

A:Student's participating in wet labs at Lincoln Memorial College of Veterinary Medicine will be shuttled from the Knoxville Convention Center to the Debusk Veterinary Campus in Ewing Virginia.
Q: I just realized my plans have changed and I can no longer attend Symposium/my wet lab/day trip. Can I get a refund?
A: Refunds are only eligible for extenuating circumstances. Scheduling conflicts do not qualify for a refund. If you have questions about refunds or have an extenuating circumstance, please contact savmasymposim2024@gmail.com.
