Wilderness Road State Park (Ewing, VA – 15 minutes from campus) A 200 acre unique outdoor living history museum at the base of the Cumberland Mountains with beautiful picnic areas, three picnic shelters, a playground, and the self - guided Indian Ridge Trail. Visitors can enjoy the visitor center, home to a theater showing an award -winning docudrama, "Wilderness Road,Spirit of a Nation." The center also has a frontier museum and a gift shop with unique regional gifts.
