Our SAVMA Symposium planning team recognizes the importance of food security and wants to make sure all of our attendees are fed! We will be offering the following food options for general attendees. All options are free unless otherwise stated.Friday, March 17th
7:30 - 9:00AM: American Association of Veterinary State Boards Breakfast
I Hotel and Conference Center, Chancellor Ballroom
Come join the American Association of Veterinary State Boards for their breakfast presentation "For the Life of Your License" where they will:
· Define licensure and terminology of licensure
· Define the organizations involved in the licensure process
· Describe the process and timeline of licensure
· Explain the role of the jurisdictions
· Discuss how the AAVSB is there for the Life of Your License
· Answer your questions!
AAVSB will have a link where people can sign up to enter a drawing for a $100 Amazon gift card – must be present to win!

Please join us for a DE&I Breakfast, co-sponsored by Hill's and VOICE, on Saturday 3/18 from 7:30-9 AM. Our keynote speaker will be Dr Aida Vientos-Plotts, DVM, PhD, DACVIM from University of Missouri, who will be speaking about her journey through her veterinary medical education, including internship, residency, and academia as a Latina and immigrant from Puerto Rico. Afterwards, we will have a Q & A session plus a fun human spectrogram activity (totally optional if you prefer not to participate).
